Where Can I Install A Pull-up Bar?

I can’t put it in my doorway because then I wouldn’t be able to shut my door
My closet door is about 50in.
Most pull up bars are around 30in. and the rest are way to expensive…
Any ideas?

    Doorways are the ideal spot for a pull up bar, which is why the length is usually the standard width of a doorway. The reinforcement of the attaching bolts/screws is important. You could make your own pull up frame, but it would be bulky and take a lot of work.
